Joe lives in Chattanooga, Tennessee with his wife Jennifer, their three children: Sydney, Jack and Walker, their three cats and dog; Ollie, Loki, Rosie and Blitz. In their spare time they enjoy traveling, scuba diving and other water sports, games involving sticks and racquets, and UT Football.

Joe Franklin, CFP, is founder and president of Franklin Wealth Management & CEO of Innovative Advisory Partners, a registered investment advisory firm in Hixson, Tennessee. A 20+ year industry veteran, he contributes guest articles for Money Magazine and authors the Franklin Backstage Pass blog. Joe has also been featured in the Wall Street Journal, Kiplinger’s Magazine, USA Today and other publications.

Franklin Wealth Management provides innovative advice for business-minded professionals, with a focus on inter-generational planning and out of the box thinking with regard to saving taxes, investing and ensuring clients stay financially fit. Joe is a graduate of the McCallie School and is an alumnus of Vanderbilt University and the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, holding a degree in mathematics and actuarial science. He serves as a former board member of the Ronald McDonald House of Chattanooga, immediate past president of the Chattanooga Breakfast Rotary Club, and is a member of the Financial Planning Association and Stuart Heights Baptist Church.
