Carter joined Franklin Wealth Management in June of 2018 after seven years as CFO, teacher and coach of a ministry in the Rio Grande Valley of south Texas. Prior to that, he enjoyed a 15-year career in finance and management with Citigroup in east Tennessee. Carter is a detail-oriented numbers guy who loves helping and serving clients and prospects alike. He holds a series 66 license as well as a Tennessee insurance license – and is currently working on his Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and Kingdom Advisor designations. He is a native of Chattanooga and an alumnus of The McCallie School and Clemson University. Carter and his wife Andrea have four grown children who are out of the house and a 4th-grader, Sam. Carter and his family enjoy being out in nature hiking or biking as well as watching Clemson football and serving their church body, Eastwood Church.
